雅思口语：“work”的使用方法

1. dirty work：指的是“需要要做的但非常无聊或非常难的工作”，其实也就是做苦工，或者是吃力不讨好的工作。

例句：

He did the dirty work on that project.

他在那个项目中做的是吃力不讨好的活儿。

2. get down to work：意思是不再放松，开始做要紧的事情，完成要紧的任务。

例句：

Sorry, I’ve got to get off the phone and get down to work.

对不起，我需要放下电话开始工作了。

3. make short work of something：含义是“非常快完成”

例句：

I made short work of the assignment and moved on to the next job.

我非常快的就完成了任务开始下一项工作了。

4. work like a horse：含义是辛勤工作，很努力的工作比如：
